China and Russia’ s trade increased year by year,HEILONGJIANG provinceconstitutes24.4%of Sino-Russian2011import and export volume-79.25billiondollars,ranking first in Sino-Russia foreign trade. Totally, HEILONGJIANG "H"bankcross-border RMB settlement volume is10.4billion dollars,Sino-Russia occupying0.35billion. The increasing stock of abroad RMB pushes Chinese government issuing andexecuting a series policies and procedures to develop cross-border RMB settlement.Theforeign trade customers are seeking how to invest, finance,save money and avoiding damagein business rather than the simple trading demand. So how to meet their new needs becomes avital task to all banks in HEILONGJIANG province. The banking industry faces new andfierce challenges. Therefore, in this paper,we concentrate on how to develop cross-borderRMB settlement business based on changing demands of foreign trade customers.In this paper, firstly, we analysis external environment which interferes"H" bankSino-Russia cross-border RMB settlement business; introducing the present economicsituation of Russia; forecast the Sino-Russia RMB settlement business; Point out theopportunity and the challenge of "H"bank Sino-Russia RMB settlement business According toJapanese YEN Internationalization; expounding “H” bank’s internal environment ofSino-Russia RMB settlement business;discussing the "H"bank local and foreign currencysettlement respectively, introducing their existing business product and clearingsystem;analysing banking industry’s advantage and disadvantage;Put forwarding restrictedfactors to the Sino-Russia RMB settlement business of "H"bank.
