Analysis Of The Sino-russian Border Trade And Development Proposals

Since the Independence of Russia, the Sino-Russia bilateral relationship has been developing steadily. The border trade has been one of the important ways to build two countries' understanding and trust, coordination and cooperation. However, the process of development of border trade is not on the beat with the bilateral relationship. There is hardly any data can fully reflect its scale and quality. Even it hasn't been brought into the statistics of both countries' foreign trade. This bring undoubtedly much inconvenience to relevant study; especially the accuracy of microcosmic analysis is worth deliberating. Therefore we often conjecture and estimate macroscopically.The prospect of Sino-Russia border trade is most deeply concerned by people But only put it under the background of strategic cooperation relationship can we conquer the excessively optimistic view or pessimistic one. This needs us to objectively evaluate the distinction and connection between the political relation and economic relation. It also needs us to correctly recognize the relationship between the ending of the "Cold War" and the world economic structure, and conquer the consistent tendency of excessive expectation. Only this can we comprehensively recognize the developing tendency of the two countries' border trade.In this thesis, the author analyzes the problems existing in two countries' border trade, the developing potential and the prospect under the background of Sino-Russia relationship. The thesis includes four sections. In section one, I mainly analyze some basic problems existing in Sino-Russia border trade in two fields (politics and economy), two directions (macroscopic and microscopic), and combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. After overall and systematic analysis, I conducts an objective evaluation and positioning with potential and basic problem of Sino-Russia border trade.In section two, I analyze the developing potential and opportunity for Sino-Russia border trade from beneficial factor existing in economy and politics. After active efforts of two countries' governments and peoples, there has been the most beneficial exterior environment for development of border trade. Although China's entry into WTO leads to certain side effect for border trade, it will continue to develop to reach maturity according to its own economical law in the long run.In section three, after analyzeing the developing prospect of Sino-Russia border trade and its interaction with bilateral politic relationship. I suggest choosing an area which has the following characters: large scale of border trade, excellent developingfoundation, perfect port facilities, excellent geopolitical transportation condition and abundant natural resources. To set up a free trade zone to achieve free trade developing mode, that is what we call"outside the customs and within the boundary".The final part of this article is conclusions.
