Research On Comprehensive Evaluation Analysis For Small And Medium-sized Construction Enterprises In China

The construction industry is an important pillar industry of China’s nationaleconomy, small and medium-sized construction enterprises are the main force in theconstruction market. At present, China is still in the rising phase of acceleratedindustrialization and urbanization, the pace of economic development is faster andfaster, and the proportion of investment in fixed assets is rising, the constructionindustry’ status which as a pillar industry in the national economy will be furtherenhanced, and the important role of small and medium-sized construction enterpriseswill be more and more obvious. Therefore, to grasp the situation of the constructionindustry, and promote the healthy development of the construction enterprises,especially promote the booming of small and medium-sized construction enterprises,which are the basic strength of the construction industry, with an extremely importanthistorical and practical significance.This paper mainly studies the comprehensive evaluation of small andmedium-sized construction enterprises. Based on the theory of Systems Science,firstly, the current development of China’s construction industry is analyzed frommacroscopic view, and the marketing characteristics of the construction industry arediscussed. Combined with the characteristics of the construction industry and smalland medium-sized construction enterprises, it is deduced that the small andmedium-sized construction enterprises are a special open complex giant system. Andthen based on the system theory thought, the comprehensive evaluation index systemof small and medium-sized construction enterprises is designed, which includes fiveaspects of production and technology capability, management capability，financialsituation, development capacity and corporate reputation. At the same time, thecomprehensive evaluation method is studied to establish a comprehensive evaluationmodel for China’s small and medium-sized construction enterprises. Finally, a smalland medium-sized construction company is selected to do comprehensive evaluateand analyze.Through this paper’s study, the following conclusions are reached: the study ofthe comprehensive evaluation of small and medium-sized construction enterpriseshas an important role and value both in theory development and in the specificimplementation of the operational level. For enterprises, it can help businessmanagers to understand and address enterprise development status, and guidebusiness operators to standardize enterprises’ behavior, the enthusiasm and creativityfor business operators are mobilized to make their behavior consistent with theinterests of the owners. The advancement of the economic efficiency of enterprisesand the competitiveness of enterprises are promoted. For the Government, it can helpthe government to understand the actual situation of small and medium-sizedconstruction enterprises, thus the government’s management on small andmedium-sized construction enterprises is strengthened to make them develop moreand more healthily and stably.
