| ABSTRACT:Long Hua Animal Husbandry Corporation is one of the leading agriculture-industrialized enterprises in Hunan Province, and it takes pig-farming as its main business. Currently, the corporation faces some hardships as costs-rising, profits-declining, risks-enhancing, so it is emergent for the corporation broaden its business, optimize its industrial structure, declining its business risks. It is significant for the corporation’s development to research on the backward integration of its industrial chain.By introducing McKensey5Cs Model, this artical invetigated the necessity of the indutry chain extention, analyzed the current situation of pig-framing policy and pig-farming market, and investigated the profits distribution in every link of pig farming industry chain. Then this article investigated the internal advantages&disadvantages and external opportunities&challenges of Long Hua Corporation, analyzed the strategies it could take through SWOT analysis and decided the direction that it could integrate backwardly, scheduled the long-term strategy of the coorperation’s industry chain extention, made the programme of industry chain backward extention. Based on these analyses, The findings showed that pig-farming enterprises need to extend in the industry chain so as to reduce the risks in running business; under current policy and market, it is reasonable to Long Hua Corporation develop fodder producing integration strategy. At last, this article made the reforming strategy for Long Hua Corporation:cutting down the management units, let the right of making decisions owned by the producing or sailing sub-departments so as to enhance the efficiency of the enterprise; dividing business segments, planning for resources, and recreating function units; stabilizing sailing channel by cooperative mechanism and making human resources reserve so as to make preparations for pig farming and diversity of fodder producing.6picture,6table,42references... |
