Study On The Establishment Of Flowers And Ornamental Plant Base In Shili, Guichi District, Anhui Province

With the continuous development of China’s urban construction and social economy, the industry of flowers and seedlings has become rapidly raised. The industry of flowers and seedlings is a green sunrise industry, which comprises economic, social and ecological benefits, and which is labor-intensive, capital-intensive and technology-intensive. It plays a significant role in adjusting agricultural structure, increasing farmers’ income, improving the ecological environment, promoting the material and spiritual civilization construction, and increassing employment and related industriesChizhou is entitled China Excellent Tourism City and National Garden City, and is China’s first state-level ecological economic demonstration zone and a famous province-level historical and cultural city. It is an important part of "Two Mountains and One Lake"(Huang Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain and Taiping Lake) tourism area and has good ecological environment and rich tourism resources. Since the eleventh five-year plan, Chizhou follows the theme of "speeding up to catch up, struggling to rise, and achieving leap development", vigorously carries forward the Chizhou spirit of "hard work, loaded fight, open, and pragmatic innovation", fully implements the strategy of "constructing ecological city, strengthening industry city, booming tourist city, and vivifying commercial city", and successful completes the main objectives and tasks of the eleventh five-year plan. Now the urban construction is constantly developing, people’s living standards are continuously improving and economic and social development makes brilliant achievements. In the twelfth five-year plan, Chizhou proposes to vigorously develop modern forestry, and firmly develops both forestry bases and leading enterprises cultivation, thus, accelerates the process of forestry industry. It will implement five big projects, constructing six major bases, and cultivating six main industries which include the industry of flowers and seedlings.The construction of flowers and seedlings base project aims at improving the urban ecological environment and enhancing the urban quality, which can accelerate the construction of a new Chizhou that has famous mountain and silk, and livable housing, that full of rich people and is powerful and in which people are harmonious while policies are unobstructed. It can also facilitate Chizhou’s needs of tourism and sustainable development of the city. According to the present development status of the industry of flowers and seedlings, this project studies the design principles, product design and market analysis, constructing programs and technical evaluation, investment estimation, and benefit evaluation of "The Base Construction Planning of Flowers and Seedlings in Shili", which provides the basis for the development of the industry of flowers and seedlings.
