The Research About Competitiveness Of Flowers And Seedlings In Zhejiang Province

“Document NO.1of the Central Government2010” stressed that should make full use ofgeographical indications and trademarks to promote the development of characteristic agriculture,“The twelfth five-year of development plan of science and technology in Zhejiang province”pointed out that to speed up the development of the special advantage of agricultural products toimprove competitiveness of characteristic agriculture. Flowers and seedlings industry as one ofZhejiang agricultural development characteristics of leading industry is developing rapidly inrecent years. However, in the process of our development is faced with the unreasonable industrialstructure, the independent innovation ability is weak, and weak level of logistics cost is high, theorganization and so on. So for how to overcome the plight of industrial development, improvecompetitiveness of flowers and seedlings, realize industrial modernization research has importantpractical significance.Based on the comparative advantage theory, use domestic market share (MS), specialization(LQ),comprehensive comparative advantage index and revealed comparative advantage index(RCA) respectively evaluates the domestic market competitiveness of Zhejiang province flowersand seedlings and international market competitiveness. Results showed that by2012: ZhejiangMS index was11.19%, the LQ index was4.27, SAI index was6.59, BAI index was0.65, AAIindex was2.07and RCA index was1.73, are relatively high except BAI. It shows that flowers andseedlings industry of Zhejiang province has a certain competitive advantage but didn’t haverelative economic advantage.Based on diamond model Based on analysis of the influence factors of diamond model resultsshow that Zhejiang province in the planting scale, industry personnel scale, population quality,demanding factors, production of raw materials, flower market, post and telecommunication,professional and technical personnel, the enterprise scale are on a comparative advantage inChina. In labor costs, advanced cultivation technology application, the construction of logisticssystem, government spending and services, industrial investment, the ability of enterprisepromoting industry development are at a comparative disadvantage. Based on the gray correlationdegree analysis showed that: The number of flower market, per unit area highway mileage andplanting scale affect the SAI index most closely. Per capita number of posts andtelecommunications business, the number of large and medium-sized enterprises and the forestryindustry investment affect the BAI index most closely. The number of flower market, plantingscale and unit area highway mileage affect the AAI index most closely. Means of agriculturalproduction price, the number of farmers and highway mileage per unit area affect the RCA indexmost closely.According to the results put forward the following Suggestions: First, cultivate flowers andseedlings leading enterprises and strengthen the government of the guiding function andcoordination; Second, cultivate professional and technical personnel, improve the cultural qualityof professional farmers; Third, expand existing well-known brand influence, and to developdistinctive varieties of influence; Fourth, improve the logistics system, improve the efficiency ofgovernment services.
