Research On The Competitiveness Of Taizhou Pharmaceutical Industrial Cluster

As a special economic organization, industrial cluster produces profound effects on many countries and regions, catches much attention of researchers from many subjects. As one of the five pillar industries of Taizhou, the pharmaceutical industry made a great contribution to the economic development of Taizhou. Taizhou pharmaceutical industry is also facing the economic globalization and the fierce competition both at home and abroad, to consolidate and enhance the status and competitiveness of Taizhou pharmaceutical industry has important significance in the promotion of development of Taizhou regional economy. This study chooses Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster as the research object, to evaluate Taizhou pharmaceutical industry competitiveness from qualitative and quantitative perspectives, and put forward suggestions and countermeasures in order to promote the competitiveness of Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster.This article first expounds the related theory of industrial cluster and its competitiveness, and discusses the concepts, classification, characteristics, competitiveness sources and analysis frameworks of industrial cluster so as to provide the theory base for this thesis. Secondly, the stages of development and the present condition of the Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster have been analyzed, and the diamond model has been used to qualitatively analyze the Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster in multiple aspects such as production elements, demand conditions, related industries and support industries, strategy and structure and competition of enterprise, government and opportunity. Then the assessment indexes system of the Taizhou Pharmaceutical industrial cluster has been set up so as to use AHP fuzzy evaluation method to assess the competitiveness of the Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster, and the important and weak factors that influence the Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster competitiveness have been concluded. Then the comparative research between Dr. reddy’s Laboratories in India and Huahai pharmaceutical has been carried to obtain corresponding inspirations, and the countermeasures to promote the competitiveness of the Taizhou pharmaceutical industrial cluster have been provided from multiple perspectives.Analysis methods such as data survey, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and comparative analysis have been used in the study above, providing references to the improvement of the competitiveness of the Taizhou pharmaceutical industry.
