The Research On Nickel Mining Investment Risk Control Of Hanking Aoniu Mining Indonesia Project

With the deepening of reform and opening up, the overseas investment scale of China has been continually expanding, and the investment areas and projects are keeping increasing. However, oversees investment environment is more complicated by compared with the domestic investment, which is more unstable, and the operation is more difficult. Therefore, identification and control of overseas investment risk becomes particularly important. In order to learn deeply about this topic, the research chooses Hanking Aoniu Mining Indonesia Project as the case study.Firstly, theory analysis, after filing the theory and research of overseas investment project risk management, the related theory analysis of overseas investment risk management will be realized as theoretical foundation of this thesis. Secondly, condition analysis, namely, to analyze Hanking Aoniu Mining Project’s real conditions, which include company background, Indonesian nickel mining project in history, the personal allocation, Indonesian mineral resources, and environment etc. Thirdly, risk analysis, namely, to identify the current and potential risks based on the real conditions analysis, which can be affected by political and legal issues, construction and management, human resources, foreign exchange control and other aspects. Finally, Proposing specific control measures and strategies for Hanking Aoniu Mininig Indonesia project based on the previous analysis.The purpose of this research is to identify and control the investment risk of Hanking Aoniu Mining Indonesia nickel mining project in order to offer the company management to make more effective measures and strategies for the company’s long-term development and to be as a reference for China overseas mining companies in risk management.
