The Difference Of Innovative Elements Gathering Within Central Plains Economic Zone

With the rise of economic geography, the research of spatial structure of technological innovation gradually become a hotspot. Numerous studies show that technological innovation and the spatial distribution of innovative resources are closely linked, which means the region with high technological innovation ability also gathered more innovative elements. Currently, the capability of regional scientific and technological innovation provides support and motivation for the region’s comprehensive development, innovation has become a key factor in regional economic growth. The overall strength of a region depends largely on the area’s technological strength.Central Plains Economic Zone is located in the heart of China, and is the bond to connect the eastern and western regions in terms of its geographical location. In2011, the Central Plains Economic Zone created9%of China’s GDP and8%of China’s investment in fixed assets, but it has3%of China’s land area and13.3%of the Country’s population. Visible, the Central Plains Economic Zone still has a large space for improvement. At present, Central Plains Economic Zone is explicitly positioned as a regional innovation center and a new economic growth base which has technological and economic radiation for the surrounding region by the nation. Therefore, Central Plains Economic Zone should develop science and technology in order to promote sustainable development and its rise.This paper analyzes technological innovation of Central Plains Economic Zone through the perspective of innovative elements of gathering. At first, the paper has summarized the related document of innovative elements, then describes the concept of innovative elements and proposes the specific composition of innovative elements of Central Plains Economic Zone. Furthermore, the paper elaborates the mechanism and process of innovative elements of gathering, it also reveals how innovation cluster is linked with economic activity. Based on this theory, the paper analyzes the situation of innovation cluster within Central Plains Economic Zone, the content of analysis include capital, labor, technology and other innovative elements. Then the article calculates the weights of the three elements by using principal component analysis, these elements is integrated as a new variable, which is used to measure the status of innovative elements cluster, the results shows that the west of Central Economic Zone has gathered more innovative elements than the eastern. Thereafter, the article takes innovation cluster, capital and labor as factors of economic growth as to do the empirical study for intrinsic relationship between innovation cluster and economic growth, then the paper establishes an economic growth model, the final results shows that agglomeration of innovative elements and economic growth has a strong correlation, in other words that the areas with a fast economic growth will gather more innovative elements. Finally, the paper presents some countermeasures and suggestions about how to narrow the differences of innovative elements gathering and promote the rational allocation of innovative elements within Central Plains Economic Zone by means of summing up the characteristics and relevant information of Central Plains Economic Zone.
