Study On Hunan New Rural Science And Technology Service System Based On AHP&SWOT

At present, our country is on the socialist new rural construction which vigorously improves rural productivity, promotes the transformation of agriculture production management style, and realizes agricultural modernization. And importantly, it needs agricultural science and technology innovation and its service system as support. Agriculture science service system is an important part of national agricultural support protection system and a technology important carrier to guide the agricultural structure adjustment, promoting agricultural industrialization, and even plays an important role for agriculture. Hunan, as one of China’s major agricultural province, should actively promote the construction of modem agricultural science and technology service system. However, along with the expansion of agricultural structure adjustment and speeding up the pace of industrialization, agriculture science service system has exposed the deep contradictions and problems, its agriculture science service system did not play a part in supporting the development of agricultural modernization. So, how to innovate Hunan rural science and technology service system, and how to make the science and technology popularization support more effective service for rural development and enhance farmers’ living standard, has become a major topic faced by people. Taking successful experience at home and abroad for reference, this paper expounds on the potential strength, weakness, opportunities and threats of Hunan agriculture science service system, and provides the corresponding countermeasure and the suggestions to promote its sustainable development and to help all levels of government and related institutions in the construction of new rural science and technology service system.
