The contribution rate of China's agricultural science and technology to agricultural development is about 45%,compared with 70% ~ 80% of the developed countries,and the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology of our country is relatively low.This is mainly due to the imperfect agricultural extension service system in our country and the fact that agricultural scientific and technological achievements have not been transformed into productive forces.Therefore,it is particularly important to strengthen the construction of agricultural extension service system and realize the true transformation of agricultural science and technology to productive forces.Although in recent years,Hohhot has been constantly emphasizing the emphasis on agriculture,but most of them are only reflected in the government documents.Until nearly a decade ago,attention was paid to agriculture and agricultural science and technology.And compared to other cities,the city lack of water resources,the advantages of climate for agricultural development is not obvious,but also in view of the late start of agriculture,agricultural extension and organizational services experience a great deficit,the initial investment is very limited.Leading to the slow development of agricultural industry so far,and the agricultural science and technology service system is still immature.The city's existing agricultural science and technology service agencies and service personnel far can‘t constitute the agricultural science and technology service system,a serious impediment to agricultural development and the construction of modern agriculture,so the city's agricultural science and technology service system construction is imperative.This article takes Hohhot as the research object.This paper uses the methods of questionnaire survey and data analysis to investigate the existing agricultural science and technology services in Hohhot.The status of its agricultural science and technology service system was analyzed.Summarized the main problems in the process of system construction.Sort out and analyze the main determinants of the conditions of influence.Through the domestic and foreign agricultural science and technology service system-related research,with reference to advanced experience in other regions.Further improve its agricultural science and technology service system,so as to accelerate agricultural modernization.Relevant countermeasures include: First,create an environment conducive to the innovation of agricultural science and technology;second,enhance the capacity of agricultural science and technology services;third,enrich and upgrade agricultural science and technology services;finally,increase the enthusiasm and ability of farmers to participate in agricultural science and technology and enhance the effective demand for agricultural science and technology services.
