| Reform more than30years, the Hunan province’s agriculture has great development,but there are still a series of problems.For example,the agriculture is the low degree of marketization, the agricultural industry structure is not reasonable, the degree of intensive agricultural production is not high,the quality of productive factors is low. These problems seriously hinder the development of modern agriculture in Hunan Province. Faced with these problems, we must accelerate the transformation of agricultural development mode。In order to achieve this goal, we must carry on the comprehensive understanding of the present stage of agricultural development in Hunan province, analyze factors which are hindering agricultural development mode change, and put forward the corresponding suggestion.This paper can be divided into six parts. The first chapter is the introduction, describes the research background, significance and the domestic and foreign research dynamic. The second chapter is about the connotation of the mode of agricultural development and related theory. The current situation of agricultural development in Hunan Province, the third chapter briefly introduces it from Investment in agriculture, the use of land and the income of rural residents. The fourth chapter analyses of the factors hindering the transformation of agricultural development in Hunan province.
