Study On Selection Of Third Party Logistics Providers

In recent years, with the development of economic globalization, our country’s international trade is developing rapidly, now it won the title of world’s factory. At the same time, a lot of the third party logistics service providers come out. This means a lot for the processing trade enterprises to enhance the core competitiveness of products. However, the service level of third party logistics service providers in China is patchy. How to choose the most suitable third party logistics company have great significance and practical value. The purpose of this study is to establish a set of third party logistics service provider selection process for ABB company.This article first elaborated the research situation of the third party vendor selection and relevant theories. Then draw up the third party logistics supplier selection process on the basis of analysis of situation. In order to get reasonable and applicable logistics supplier selection model, combined with the interview method and questionnaire survey; obtained relevant selection index system by studying the results of the questionnaire with SPSS. Then, through combining the invite public bidding method and AHP select the optimum third party logistics supplier of ABB. Finally, combining the reality of ABB company analyze the possible risks of TPL and give the ideal way of management.
