The Relationship Between Human Capital Of Venture Capital And Corporate Innovation、Performance

From the perspective of human capital of venture capital, using three human capital dimensions:education level, education background, past experience to create the human capital index, the paper studies the relationship between venture capital and corporate innovation, and tests the value-added role of venture capital. In addition, this paper further explores the relationship between the corporate innovation and performance and role of venture capital, which makes it a complete study of the impact of venture capital on the corporate innovation and performance as a value-added role.After collecting the financial date and corresponding financing events of Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market listing Corporation that got venture capital and information of venture capitalists, this paper carries on the empirical research from the micro level, and comes to conclusions:compared with the general corporation, innovation of corporation that got venture capital is better, and it was significantly fostered after the venture capital by the professional advice and suggestions of venture capitalists. With the innovation of corporation increasing, the profitability and growth increase. However this paper find that corporation faces the problems such as diseconomies of scale, financing constraints and low economic benefit of R&D. Corporation increase its profitability and growth by its management and business strategies, meantime venture capital didn’t play the value-added role.This paper has certain significance. Firstly, this paper studies the relationship between venture capital and corporation from the perspective of human capital, corporate innovation and performance, which enrich the study of venture capital and innovation; secondly, the research of this paper provides guidance for venture capital investment selection and management, corporate using the financing channel of venture capital and increasing innovation and performance, government’s effective resource allocation, policy guidance and legal regulation in the field of venture capital.
