On The Improvement And Perfection Of Commercial Bank Business Internal Control

It has been several years since the high speed expansion and development ofcommercial bank. Now that many of them are listed, marketization is gradually beingcompleted. During this process, the commercial banks are almost set free from thegovernmental structure. This has facilitated the bank competition. However, ascommercial banks are trying their best to make a profit, the problems of internal controlsare being revealed. While the corporate banking is the core business of the commercialbanks, the internal control for corporate banking is especially important.Based on the above mentioned situation, this paper will try to view the problemfrom a practical approach. It will start from the staff feedback on the issue of internalcontrol; this is to avoid being an armchair strategist. The methodology of this paper issending out questionnaires to bank staff. Then feedback will be collected and answerswill be categorized. This will give a clear picture of the problems with regard to fiveelements of internal control. Then, by combining the literature related to this issue andthe very working experience of the author, the paper will proceed to analyze the internaland external cause and eventually come up with a plausible solution to improve theinternal control of commercial bank in China.
