Because of occupation managers appearing, the traditional sense of the labor relationship becomes more diversified and complicated. On the one hand, the relation of occupation managers and employers is not only the employment relationship but also principal agent relationship. On the othor hand, the relation of occupation managers and other workers is not only the labor relationship but management relationship. Therefore, the special position and role of occupation managers belongs to their characteristics in labor relationship. It is necessary for us to clarify the role and function of occupation managers, to promote the research about strategic management of labor relations. Based on the analysis of the particularity of occupation managers in labor-capital relations, we clarify the role of occupation managers in labor relations. By means of case analysis, we point out a variety of problems about occupation managers in labor relation. To solve these problems, we put forward a series of suggestions, such as determining the role of occupation managers, improving the corporate governance structure, training awareness of social responsibility of occupation managers, developing the market of occupation managers, promoting the occupation managers independence and growth, and so on.
