With the globalization of the world economy and rapidly-new technology emergethat enterprises can not be completely isolated in business activities. In order toboosting their own development and meeting the growing demand, they needs toabsorb resources from the external enterprise network. Whether it is a virtual networkor real network, both play important role in the enterprise management. It is morevaluable for service enterprise network depend on social relations. In knowledgeintensive business services, the knowledge is the core elements of the rapiddevelopment. As the division of labor are more detailed, such companies become anew industry to get more attention. Therefore, this study aimed at knowledgeintensive service enterprises in the third industry. Learning how the network and it’sconstitution to influence the firm’s performance. Also study the level of firm’sstrategic flexibility. In this paper strategic flexibility include two aspects: Resourceflexibility and Coordination flexibility, Study how the two factors influence firm’sperformance. According to the empirical results, provides the scientific advice for theenterprise about managing network.This study is divided into four steps: The first part is the literature study. Putforward the basic idea of study model based on reading extensive literature.Thesecond part is the qualitative interview, by telephone or network. Interview thesupervisors in manufacturing enterprises and the knowledge intensive service firms.As a practice support to test the feasibility for the model. The third part is theempirical study, Translation and amend the classic scale then purification of scale.Distribute the questionnaires to the knowledge intensive service enterprises’employees; The fourth part is statistical analysis. Use the210questionnaires data for asample, utilizing the software of SPSS17.0,EXCEL2007to analysis and verify thetheoretical framework of this thesis. The results of the study prove the hypotheses.The main conclusions are: Knowledge service enterprise network density has apositive impact on firm’s performance; The intensity of network has a positive impacton enterprise performance; The quality of knowledge service enterprise networkrelationship has a positive impact on performance; The knowledge service enterprisenetwork can influence firm’s performance through strategic flexibility; firms in different scale or in different industry have different levels of strategic flexibility.The result of this research clarify how the enterprise network, strategic flexibilityto impact of performance, Reveal the network influence on enterprise performancethrough strategic choice and strategic attitude. Based on the previous study aboutenterprise network though firm’s own capability to enhance its performance. This paperalso discussed the function of organizational structure to influence firm’s strategiclevel. Improve the concept of the organizational ability.
