Along with informationzation, and knowledge's economic continuous improvement, modern service industry has become increasingly important role in the modern economy. Knowledge-intensive services as the rapid growth of modern service industry, has a certain degree of development now even though it remains later developed and lower level than the developed countries, knowledge-intensive services has a great promoting role to other industries. So the study the value of knowledge-intensive service sector contribution has a great significance. Now there are a lot of knowledge-intensive service researches focusing on the measurement or qualitative industries in China. But because of the connotation and extension of knowledge-intensive service industries are in the ever-changing, there are few researches focusing on the quantitative studies of the value of knowledge-intensive service, and the contribution of knowledge-intensive services industry to various sectors and industries associated value. In this thesis, integrated using of knowledge theory of value, economic growth theory, input-output theory, as well as statistical and other methods, as the exploratory study on knowledge-intensive service industries both qualitative and quantitative in-depth study.First of all, this article is based on a wide range of research relevant literature at home and abroad, and keeps the dynamics of knowledge-intensive service industries and the development status of the knowledge-intensive services sector. The connotation and extension of knowledge-intensive service industry Discussed and three criteria for judging were given.Secondly, after the comprehensive and systematic study of the theory of knowledge-intensive value, I creative the adding of knowledge value model which was based on value chain, and analyzed the mechanism of knowledge value adding. On the basis of theoretical analysis, value of knowledge in applied analysis is measured. In this paper, we used the production function model of elements transformation and used of the scientific research in colleges and universities, did the regression analysis and found the underestimated value in R & D knowledge-intensive service sector.Thirdly, as a result of the strong extension of knowledge-intensive service industries, the contribution value and industry linkages are inseparable, and input-output analysis was used to complete these two studies on China's knowledge-intensive service industries in 2002 and 2005. Data processing and analysis is difficult in this chapter, I finished it through the access to yearbooks, collect statistical data to calculate the direct consumption coefficient, sensitivity coefficient, the influence coefficient. Quantitative analysis of our knowledge-intensive service sector industries given the contribution value, associated with the various departments and bringed up the problems in the development. Finally, for better studying the value of knowledge-intensive service industries from various angles, this article draws on overseas experience in the development of knowledge-intensive service industries. Through the knowledge-intensive service industry input-output analysis in United States and India, combined with the characteristics of each country, explored the development of knowledge-intensive service industries in China. This innovation was the following points:1. Giving the definition of knowledge-intensive service sector.2. Creatively made the Knowledge value added model.3. Used the production function model of elements transformation, did the regression analysis and found the underestimated value in R & D knowledge-intensive service sector.4. Using the input-output method to analyze the new defined knowledge-intensive service industry, found the problems which the exer researchers did not find.5. Proposed that the contributions of the higher-level knowledge of the knowledge-intensive service was bigger than the lower-level knowledge of knowledge-intensive service industries.
