The Transaction Cost Economics (TCE) examines the trading activity and itseconomic system as the core to save the transaction cost, which greatly expands theresearch view of economics and the analysis scope. However, as an emerging subject, the existing transaction cost theory is not quite mature and perfect, especially on thequantization of the analysis framework of TCE proposed by Williamson. Thecalculation of transactions costs has become a problem since it is difficult to observeand quantify the asset specificity, transaction frequency and environmentaluncertainty. To solve this problem, Jianfeng Hu (2010) reconstructed the analysisframework of TCE from the perspective of importance, university and objectivity. He proposed that the transaction cost should be divided into the cost of using theorganization (organization internal cost) and the cost of using the market(organization external cost). Unfortunately, he didn’t examine the hypotheses puttedforward by himself. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the hypothesizes put forward byJianfeng Hu on empirical. Firstly, this paper supplemented some other dimensions byreading a large number of both domestic and foreign research and surveying on thespot, such as the economic dependence on the enterprise, entrepreneurship and theenterprise’s credit. And based on this, we proposed corresponding hypothesizes.Secondly, this paper selected the agricultural special co-ops as the object of theempirical research, because it could strip the production cost and transaction costwell. Finally, questionnaire was designed according to the hypothesizes proposed bythis paper, and Zhejiang Provence was taken as the object to collect and collate thesurvey dates. Then the252valid dates was processed by the multiple regressionsAnalysis.Through empirical analysis, this paper reached the following conclusions:Firstly, the empirical results almost confirmed the hypothesizes proposed by JianfengHu: both the number of members and the trading size were positively associatedwith transaction cost, in turn, the economic dependence on the enterprise, entrepreneurship and the enterprise’s credit were negatively associated withtransaction cost. Secondly, results showed that different types of co-ops had differenttransaction per unit cost. For example, the transaction cost per unit of planting, fruits and vegetables and farming co-ops was [0.01-0.11],[0.01-0.27] and [0.007-0.25]respectively. Therefore, when we study the transaction costs of different type co-ops,we should analysis them on different conditions. Again, results also showed thatdifferent types of co-ops had different influencing factors and degree. For instance, the entrepreneurship had a significant effect on fruit and vegetables and farmingco-ops,but the impact on planting co-ops was not significant; the influence degree ofentrepreneurship on planting fruit, vegetables and farming co-ops was-0.026,-0.323,-0.300respectively. Thus, when we try to improve and perfect different type ofco-ops, we should depend on itself characteristics.
