As China’s market-oriented interest rate reform deepening, the financial institutions of the banking industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce, banks (especially small and medium commercial banks) to promote business transformation. At the same time, the rapid development of the national economy to drive the improvement of the resident income level, many people will accumulate idle money into the bank, capital value, value-added. In this context, China’s commercial banks pay more and more attention to the development of personal financial business, which is to improve the intermediate business income and an important carrier of promoting integrated management strategy. As a new force of China’s financial market, city commercial banks to form the core competitiveness, the expansion of profit sources and change the mode of operation, nature also will be the personal financial management business in an important position. Therefore, according to the actual situation of China’s city commercial banks personal financial business development, study the find out the future trend of development, the main problems existing in the development and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures, has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper reviews and summarizes the research on the personal financial business of commercial banks at home and abroad.
