| Industrial agglomeration is a common phenomenon of economic activity in today’ssociety，it has become an important strategy to promote industrial development and regionaleconomic growth. China’s automobile industry has developed almost half a century, theindustry developed rapidly, and industrial concentration improved continuously. Its positionin China’s economic development and its contribution to the national economy has becomeincreasingly prominent. Until now, it has formed a six car industry gathering area. This paperbased in industry cluster, focused on the situation of China’s automotive industry cluster, andthe impact of the automobile industry agglomeration of industrial development.This paper describes the theory of industrial agglomeration, combined with thecharacteristics of the automobile industry, summed up the automobile industryagglomeration theory. On this basis, I finished the development process and overview of theautomobile industry, and drawn automobile industry cluster spatial distribution. This articleuse location quotient and industry concentration measure regional automotive industryconcentration. To verify the relationship between the auto industry agglomeration andindustrial development, this paper use spss to make regression analysis between locationquotient and automotive industry output. The results show that not all areas automobileindustry agglomeration had significant role in promoting industrial development. Amongthem, Jilin, Jiangsu, Hubei vehicle and parts industry agglomeration have no significantrelationship with industry. Finally, according to the results, this paper analyzed the causes. |
