Research On The Impacts Of High-Speed Railway To Hengyang City’s Development

The innovation of transportation technology contribute to the progress of society and the development of economy throughout the human history."The national medium and long-term railway network program" has been promulgated by the State Council in2004, which clearly proposed to build "four vertical and four horizontal" high-speed railway. According to the program, the total mileage of national railway would be built to nearly120000kilometers. With the process of our high speed railway planning speed up to rising and improving of our operating ability, our country has undoubtfully come into a "High-speed rail Times".In recent years, scholars in increasing numbers begin to pay more attention to the social economy and the impact of the forming of urban space about the cities and regions along the high-speed railway. The heated debates, such as how to take responsibility to the economic and social functions, how to lead the development of the forming of urban space, how to promote the adjustment of the upgrating and positioning of industry and spatial resource optimization and how to measure the effect of different grade cities along the high-speed railway, have aroused our attention.Wuhan-guangzhou high-speed railway has been operated in the end of2009, Beijing-wuhan-guangzhou-shenzhen high-speed rail has been finished in three years, and then, the HengLiu railway from Hengyang to Yongzhou in hunan province began to operate on December5,2013. At the same time, the Qidong state became the fourth high-speed rail station following other3rail stations.Take Hengyang city as the research object, this thesis reference to the statistical yearbook of Hunan province and the latest informations of the statistical yearbook of Hengyang city.The gravity model, field model,"with and without comparison method", multiply linear regression model and a scientific evaluation index system were adoped in the thesis in order to measure the effect of the Wuhan-guangzhou high-speed railway. In the end, the suggestions are put forward accordiong to the conclusions.In this paper, which has been stated in the first part of the article selected the background, research significance, the main content and structure of the whole words and methods of research. Secondly, an overview of the dynamic reseach are provided by the domestic and abroad experts and scholars. The third part is the effect of high speed railway mechanism analysis. In the fourth part, the conclusions are approved to be true by selected the index quantitative evaluaton system before and after the opertate of Wu-guang high-speed railway, such as the improvement of the capacity of Hengyang transportation, the upgrating of the industrial economy and the expanding of economic radiation ability and Hengshan tourism attraction.
