The Development Strategy Research Of Carbon Finance Of Domestic Commercial Bank

As global climate problem increasingly prominent, developing low-carbon economy for sustainable development has become the consensus of the international community. Finance is the core of modern economy, so low carbon economy development needs the support of the financial system. On the basis of Marshall "external economy" theory, the Coase theorem and the Environmental Finance, the United Nations framework convention on climate change, the Kyoto protocol and its three carbon cooperation mechanism based on market system directly promoted the production of carbon finance, and the concept of carbon finance is the financial theory innovation to support the low carbon economy development.After30years of reform, the financial system in China has begun to take shape, which can better meet the needs of economic development in our country, but there is a big difference between the carbon finance as a new field and the traditional financial field. China’s existing financial system cannot adapt even hindered the development of carbon finance. As the largest financial institutions in China, the commercial Banks will play a decisive role to develop low carbon finance. In order to fully implement the sustainable development strategy in our country, and build a complete structure, complete functions and effective carbon financial system, participation of the commercial Banks in low carbon economic must be improved, thereby to deepen the low carbon economy development of our country, this study will focus on the issue above.Based on the construction of perfect mechanism of carbon trading in developed countries and relatively mature carbon finance development experience for reference, this paper points out that our country has extremely rich resources and the potential for carbon emissions markets, but the development of carbon finance is relatively slow. It also analyzes the internal and external environment of the China’s commercial Banks using the SWOT analysis, and puts forward the TW strategy that is suitable for the development of our country’ commercial bank’s carbon finance, and expounds the measures which the corresponding departments can take to promote the development of deeper carbon finance of commercial Banks.Finally, in the domestic leader in low carbon financial bank Industrial Bank as an example, the paper carries on the empirical analysis of the general carbon finance business module and typical case of the Industrial Bank, and discusses the effectiveness of TW strategy at the Industrial Bank, then it is concluded that the development of our country commercial bank’s carbon finance not only needs the Banks themselves perfect relevant supporting measures for the development of low carbon business, also needs the government to create a good financial environment stimulate to the low-carbon economies, which will make the low carbon behavior universal.
