With the high penetration of Internet and the rapid development of electronic commerce, every industry is changing. Deeply influenced by this invisible network, the network has changed people’s thinking habits and behavioral habits. As the first to enter the field of e-commerce, the environment of clothing market is changing inevitably. Consumers are used to a new consumer behavior, a cross-channel shopping, to find the best deal. Traditional store retailers are facing new challenges that require it to import the network thinking to experience to attract consumers and inspire their shopping desire. Plagued by low barriers and low credibility, online stores try to attract consumers by setting traditional store. In this paper, functional design is the unique perspective that provides new solutions to fuse traditional stores and online stores organically, to provide customers with a new interactive experience and revive attractiveness traditional store.Building tools and case validation will be adopted in the study of this paper. Results and value will be summarized by asking questions and answering the questions.First, this paper describes its background to indicate the meaning and purpose of functional design of traditional stores. Secondly, the tool of functional system design is raised by the research on domestic and foreign concepts, stating Matrix thinking and functional design of traditional stores. The basis of this tool is the analysis of3C, including corporation, consumer and competition. The design content includes the path, the methods and the principles of selecting functional elements, confirming the strength of functional elements and comparing the structure of functional curve. New functionality will be produced by selecting functional elements, including listing, comparing and analysis the functional elements. The new functionality will form the vertical axis of the functional curve, which has its own principles. Every functional element has its own strength which will form the longitudinal axis of the. The vertical and longitudinal axis will form the functional curve. The target functional curve of clothing brand Avirex is different from its current one’s and other clothing brands’. Of course, confirming the strength of functional elements and comparing the structure of functional curve have their own principles. Finally this tool will be applied to the functional design of the traditional stores of clothing brand Avirex. The tool will be practiced and adjusted in this case.In conclusion, traditional stores and online stores must be unified in the time of big data. This tool will help traditional stores occupy an invincible position in this transformation. However, this tools is not a panacea. It must be adjusted and applied reasonably in different actual cases and different ecosystems.
