Landless peasants’ situation is not optimistic, withprices rising and the re employment of the land losing peasants facing difficulties, if themajority of farmers rely on land acquisition compensation to solve the pension problem, isnot realistic.Shanghai city in order to protect the vital interests of peasants, has taken manyeffective measures, and accumulated a lot of successful experience, but there are manydeficiencies.
