Salary system is an important part of the modern enterprise management system. It is directly linked with employee’s motivation which enhances enterprise’s competitiveness and has to be set up in a scientific, reasonable and incentive way. It strongly influences the survival and development of a company. Therefore, to establish scientific salary system is the key part for strategic human resources management in order to make employees more active and creative, and to attract and reserve excellent employees for the sustainable development of enterprises.Considering the improvement of salary system as the research object, this thesis applies the modern theories of salary design to analyze problems of salary in SZ Company. Furthermore, based on the salary survey of the securities industry and salary satisfaction of employees in SZ Company, the thesis points out improving design scheme of salary system for business departments and supporting departments. In overall, the salary level is reestablished based on the top ten ranking companies in SZ. This thesis focuses on fixed salary and floated salary. In the aspect of fixed salary study, we simplify the ranking system and design a salary range to pay employees according to position and performance for better control. In the aspect of floated salary study, we design the allocation model of bonus pool based on discretion. It is a need to design the total salary for supporting departments according to proportions and for business departments based on discretion and market comparison, hence paying employees according to their rank of yearly performance. Last but not least, the thesis provides the protective measures and long-term motivation measures for improvement plan. |
