| Economy fluctuation, market uncertainty, customization, increasi ng competition have lead to the shifting of competition unit form si ngle firm to whole supply chain. In order to fulfill customers’diver se demands and to face fierce competitions, firms need to integrate relevant firms in the supply chain. It is necessary to have informa tion technology to communicate with others timely and precisely to affirm this effective integration. Inter-organizational system is the v ery information technology which can contribute to effective integrat ion. With inter-organizational system, firms can communicate with o thers more accurately and timely, that can improve operational effici ency, competition edge, reduce cost, meet customers’ demands better. Now, inter-organizational systems are increasing become firms’nee essities. Though, inter-organizational systems’benefit are widely rec ognized by academies and practitioners, the adoption level is still1 ow. Some scholars realize that inter-organizational factors especially partner attributes have great impact on the adoption intention of fi rms towards inter-organizational systems. Drawing on this, begin th is study.In this paper, partner attributes are studied and then classified i nto four dimensionalities:partner power, target compatibility, resourc e complementarity, operation coordination. After generalization and c onclusion of studies about adoption of inter-organizational systems, key factors are identified:perceived benefit and partnership. This pa per study the influence of partner attributes on adoption intention fo rm perspectives of technology acceptance and corporation relationshi p. Through the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis, research hypotheses are verified and analyzed.Results show that:partner attributes have significant influence on adoption intension of firms toward inter-organizational systems. Besides directs effect, partner attributes indirectly influence firms’a doption intension towards inter-organizational system by perceived b enefit and partner relationship. Specifically, partner power, resource complementarity, operation coordination have significant impact on p erceived benefit, partner power, resource complementarity, operation coordination have significant impact on partner trust. Target compati bility, resource complementarity, operation coordination have signific ant impact on partner commitment. Among perceived benefit, partne r trust, partner commitment, perceived benefit has the greatest impa ct on adoption intention, then is partner trust, the lowest is partner commitment. |
