In recent years, with the deepening of reform and opening up, the decision of the development of Pudong area and "Yangtze River Delta Regional Planning" announced by State Council, the establishment of Wenzhou financial comprehensive reform pilot area and the free trade zone in Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta region is the most remarkable piece of land, showing strong economic development vitality.Due to the role of market economy, China’s economic development in various regions emerged unprecedented vigor and vitality, while the rapid economic development of Yangtze River Delta region. Barriers among different regions have been broken down, as the results, economic and trade exchanges is gradually becoming closer. In the "first" to bring about "post-rich" development path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, interaction economic development between the Yangtze River Delta region and other regions attract every attention. On the one hand, it helps to investigate the driving effect of the Yangtze River Delta on the other regions of China, and on the other it is to ensure that while association with other regional economies, the Yangtze River Delta can seek its own rapid development. Thinking these issues will help to solve the problem of the regional balance among different areas, to make sure that all the people will share the achievements of reform and development, therefore researches on these issues has highly important theoretical and practical significance. Therefore, this paper, based on the role of the Yangtze River Delta in boosting China’s economic development and its own role in boosting the development of dynamic problems starting, provides a brief summary of studies in the interregional economic development on interaction, and takes the input-output method as the basic method. In the study, the whole China is divided into eastern, central and western three regions except the Yangtze River Delta. On this basis, the interactive relationships among the Yangtze River Delta region and the eastern, central and western regions have been comprehensive analyzed. This text is divided into four chapters:Chapter One starts with an introduction of the background, significance, the thinking of the study, etc. Meanwhile this chapter focuses on reviewing the relevant theory research about the interaction between interregional economic developments and sorting out the existing empirical research from a methodological point. I propose taking the input-output method as the basic method in this study because of the lack of existing research and the development of input-output technology.Chapter Two presents the theory of interaction between interregional economic developments based on input-output model in this paper. Firstly, a brief introduction of the necessity of interregional input-output analysis and its development direction; Secondly, providing three basic models in interregional input-output analysis according to different research purposes; Finally, sorting out the basic research framework of interregional input-output analysis.Chapter Three is the important empirical analysis section of this paper. The first step, I work out the four regions interregional input-output tables as a source of data in the following empirical analysis. In the empirical analysis, firstly, studying the linked characters of different regions by measuring the forward linkage and backward linkage as a view of a purchaser of intermediate goods and a provider; Secondly, analyzing the interactions between the Yangtze River Delta region and other areas by calculating the interregional spillover and feedback effects, and analyzing the path of this mutual interactions through the feedback loop analysis and hierarchical analysis. The last chapter is to make a systematic summary of the above analysis, and puts forward some suggestions.
