Study On United Society In Modern Times Northwest

The united society was an ancient civilian form of finance. As a main part of Chinese traditional loan relation system, it played a very important role in the livelihoods of the people and social production, especially tightly connected to the group of peasants, middle and lower classes in the society. In spite of a lot of savants had done fully and painstakingly researches, studies and received quite achievements on the united society in the modern times, here shows an obvious imbalance on regions. The study of the united society at northwest region has always been neglected due to lack of data. This article is focused on the developing, content and influence on the united society in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai area in modern history. Aiming to provide the readers a new angle to see the northwest country society, let them know more about the united society in a macrocosm way and the influence it gave on northwest country development. In this article, mainly used Documentary Research Method, Comparative Analysis Method, and Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis Method, which divided the whole article into three chapters:In the first chapter, it gives a briefing of the united society, the definition and terms used in the united society and teases out how united society started and developed. Also in this chapter summarized the nature and designed features of the united society.The second chapter is about content and policies of the united society, described the types, amount and the percentage of different types of the northwest united society, analyzed the internal format and operating mechanism, finding out the design features of united society in the northwest thronging comparisons. And discussed the positive roles that united society played in northwest country development, by focusing on country life and economy.The third chapter revealed the deep reasons of the decline of united society. In modern history, northwest peasant economy collapsed increasingly, lead to the instabilities and broke down of united society. The fatal reasons are internal and external. Internally, the united society were not legally ruled or protected, there were many aspects lacking of standardization, and the benefits of the members couldn’t be protected. Externally, natural disasters were keeping striking on the united society. Pressure from both aspects eventually brought the united society to disintegration.
