The distribution of resource and the coordination of management have a close relationship with the operational activities. However, Because of the information asymmetry and bulwark, the improvement of operation performance is always limited. Sharing information in a scientific and effective way is the key. With the help of literature review, it can be seen that, the model, of which information sharing acts on operation performance, can be the standard of this method. Moreover, there is quite little current research of the specific route of the information sharing affects the operation performance indexes, especially focus on a special industry, nor is ability of information sharing. Last but not least, how to measure the operation performance in some particular situation does not mentioned.Therefore, analysis model is set under the influence of information sharing. According the functional path, a series of important evaluation index of operation performance is presented. The behavior anchored rating evaluation method is used to evaluate each of the operation performance indexes, and the overall level of operation performance can be measured. Secondly, sharing ability and sharing extent are used as two dimensions to divide the information sharing. Finally, we can get the establishment of a mechanism integrated model:a relation model of two sharing dimensions and operation performance level and a model of each functional path between sharing intensity factors and operation performance indexes.Based on the empirical analysis of the manufacturing enterprises, a mechanism model is constructed to show the relationship between information sharing and operation performance. It is proved that the improvement of intensity of information sharing is beneficial to operation performance increasing. The results prove the information level affects both information sharing level and operation performance level. Managers can improve operation performance level by the means of information sharing. Furthermore, this result can be explained as follows:(1) Sharing the production information can help make production plans, reduce inventory and improve delivery capabilities.(2) Sharing the market and plan information benefit to the value-added productivity and reduce inventory.(3) Sharing the cost of inventory should contribute to flexibility.(4) The history information of sales conduce to shorten the lead time.This paper provides a guidance of improving the operation performance by the means of sharing information. According presenting the mechanism of action between information-sharing and operation performance, managers can set a scientific way of information-sharing by taking account of operation goals.
