With the rapid development of urbanization in China and the globalization, thecompetition between domestic cities and foreign cities is very tense. A large amount ofcities employ the advertising film of city image to increase their visibility and reputation,in order to obtain quality resource and helpful conditions, and enhance their overallstrength. However, in the course of dissemination, the advertising film of city image hassome problems, such as similar form、lack of creativity and bad advertising effect.In the opinion of communication and advertising, this article researches theadvertising film of Chinese city image, trying to tease out its adverting environment、factors and traits. This article will analyze the reasons for its difficulties in transmission,from the point of city strength and its advertiser、cultural psychology and creative ideas.Besides, this article will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the advertisingfilm of city image and the micro film of city image, in the background of new area. A tlast, this article will try to come up with some suggestions for the advertising film ofChinese city image.
