Policy And Environmental Research Utilization Of Foreign Investment In Russia

With the growth of the world economy, globalization based foreign directinvestment becomes the hot topic in the moving ahead of the global economy. After thecollapse of Soviet Union, Russia, a gradually recovering economic giant, has graduallyopened the door to attract overseas investors. The rising economy, politicalstability, rich natural resources, the growth of people’s living level andthe improvement of investment environment have mainly triggered the scope of directinvestment in Russia. It can be said that the survey of policy and the environment ofattracting and utilizing foreign direct investment in Russia has relatively high researchvalue.At present, many domestic and foreign scholars to Russianinvestment policy and environment have a volume of intensive interests. And they haveconducted a series of systematic and comprehensive researches. This paper aims tofurther improve those researches. Basing on the development process of Russia inattracting and utilizing foreign direct investment since1990s, this paper tends to explorethe scale, regional distribution and industrial distribution of Russia’s foreign directinvestment to make further analysis about the policy and environment in this field. Inaddition, this paper also attaches to the foreign direct investment from China to Russiato identify the current situation, related existing problems and correspondingcountermeasures.
