High-low Match Mechanism Theory And Congestion Management Study

This thesis mainly studies High-Low match method and its usage in the generation right transaction market, based on Shanghai electricity market generation right transaction plan.This article first introduces the background of the thesis and the present state of Shanghai power market, giving the basis of implementing generation right transaction. Second, it introduces several payment methods mainly used in the electricity market. And the merits and shortcomings of these methods are studied respectively. Amongst them, the High-low match method is mainly focused.Third, this article tells us the theory of generation right transaction, its procedure and its model. And how to use High-low match method in generation right transaction is studied too. In the content, how to compute the transaction cost and how to analyses the transaction profits are also given in details. In the following step, it introduces how to deal with the network congestion.At last, this article uses Shanghai network to simulink the theory mentioned above and analyses the result to prove its feasibility.
