Yunnan Zhaotong Dashanbao National Nature Reserve is officially defined asone of the key construction projects of scenic spots by the Zhaotong municipal partycommittee and government for its unique wetland landscape, rich biology diversity, Ilevel protected species of grus nigricollis, magnificent steep Jigong Mountain GrandCanyon and characteristic inhabitants. Since July of2009, plenty of tourists comefrom in and ouside the province has been rising apparently,which brings greatprsssure to eco-environment protection of the natural reserve.The negative effects oftourists’ activities on the grus nigricollis (ie black-necked crane) has arisen more andmore attention.At present, the scientific researches in Dashanbao national natural reserve aremany, but the related researches of tourism affection on the black necked cranes arefew. Therefore the research of the negative influence of Tourism Activity on Black-necked cranes has a vital significance.This paper mainly applies the manipulation of the experimental research method,field observation experiment method and so on.This paper focus on the influence oftourism activities on the behavior and habitat of black necked cranes respectively,thus puts forward the scientific protection countermeasures. The main research resultsare as follows:(1) Effects of tourism activities on the behavior of black necked cranes:behavioral responses to tourism disturbance performance for the alert and flush, andthe interference of the tourists have a certain level of tolerance. The number of blacknecked Crane interference with warning distance and flight distance was positivelycorrelated, bright colors such as (red, yellow) had significant effect on theblack-necked Crane flush distance, the sound also has a very significant effect on theblack-necked Crane alert and flight distance. In addition, tourists loudly noise willshorten their feeding time, thus the resting, preening time will increase.(2)Effects of tourism activities on the black-necked Crane Habitat: mainly for the effects on soil properties and influence on the vegetation height and coverage, etc..The influence of tourism activities, soil bulk density increased, the soil pH levelincreased; soil water content, capillary porosity, total porosity decreased. Thevegetation height and coverage by the impact of tourism more obvious changes, inaddition the trample of visitors will lead to impaired plant leaves, increase the rate ofvegetation and bare root lodging, eventually lead to vegetation removed, the soil isexposed outside; in addition the tourism highway construction barrier the spring andwetland water supply, outlet water of spring dries by56%.All mentioned above willthreat the survival of black-necked crane to some extent.Protection measures: establish the black necked Crane buffer and protectionzone; the development of ecological tourism, improving the ecological compensationmechanism; optimize the management system, improve the publicity efforts,strengthen the supervision research and protection level, improve the wetlandresource management,rebuilt the damaged vegetation; built measuring platforms,erect warning signs; and coordinate the conflicts of development and protection;Reasonably plan the tourists line of Dashanbao natural reserve.
