H76block of Jihe oil fields has entered into the estate of high water cut exploitation, due to the rise in composite water cut, production has been into the decline stage, a large number of remaining oil enriched in the sand. Based on the sedimentary microfacies analysis, finding out the source direction of the research area, comprehending the genesis and distribution of the sand bodies, this paper is aimed at analyzing the spatial superimposed relationships of sand units and discussing the relationship between the spatial superimposed characteristics of sand units and the remaining oil.Utilizing the sedimentary strata cycle as mainly stratigraphic correlation logo and referring to the formers’achievement in research, the Till formation of H76block in Jihe oilfields has been divided into9single layers, and then have the sedimentary microfacies of the9single layers researched. On the basis of the recognition of facies marker, combining the formers’achievement and perceives that the research areas are developed deep lake facies and the submarine fans, which are mainly consisted of sedimentary microfacies of the main channel, the braided channel, the front of middle fan and the braided inter-channel. On the base of confirming the depositional setting of the research area, analyzing the9single layers’ sedimentary microfacies’plane distribution, the vertical evolution and its sand bodies’ distribution characteristics, the effective sand bodies have been identified through the interpretation standard and the effective sand bodies’ plane distribution is described in geometry, scale and lateral continuity. Based on the acquaintance of strata and sedimentary characteristics in the area, with the guide of reservior configuration theory, sand layers which are composited by sand units in the relationships of crosscutting and folding are splitted in the vertial direction. The spatial superimposed characteristics of sand units are distinguished into4typess and analyzing the type of contact and connected relation. Summarizing the sand units’ pattern geometry distribution and combination relation, combining the sedimentary characteristics of the research area, the paper analyzes the movement disciplinarian of oil and water, discusses the relationship between the spatial superimposed characteristics of sand units and the remaining oil, suggests H76-53-H76-55wellblock and H76-64-H76-86wellblock of the research areas are likely to appear in the remaining oil. The potential zones where the remaining oil appearing will be the the focus when the oil fields has entered into the estate of high water cut exploitation.
