Flocculating sedimentation is widely used method of water treatment at home and abroad, and the key point of flocculation effect depends on the quality of flocculating agent types and properties, thus developing new high efficiency flocculating agent is the core technology to obtain the optimization of flocculating process. In order to further improve the sewage flocculent effect, it is need to develop a effective flocculating agent, which should be low moisture, high speed of floc settling and simple of preparation technology.Using inverse emulsion polymerization methods to obtain higher molecular weight polymer:On the basis of using acrylamide (AM) to build the structure of molecules, introduce DMDAAC as cationic monomer; add water glass in acid condition to form helical-structure by dehydration condensation reaction, which can catch suspended particles easily and strongly. On this basis, introduce iron ion, taking—OH from Armour silane oxygen alcohol as a bridge, and form polynuclear complex ion, thus forming hydroxyl complexation, increasing surface area, and forming a network and large flocculating agent. And choose the (NH4)2S2O8, Na2SO3 and V50 as initiator, kerosene and chlorinated paraffin wax as oil phase, Span-80 and OP-10 as emulsifier in inverse emulsion polymerization complex network system to synthesize composite flocculating agent.A series of experiments for this research indicates that the optimal synthesis conditions of the composite net flocculating agent is as follows:The reaction temperature is 40 degrees Celsius, PH value in 6-7, Monomer concentration is 45%(wt), Monomer concentration ratio (AM:DMDAAC)is 15:4; Initiator dosage is 0.4%(wt); The initiator concentration ratio (V50: 8:Na2SO3) is 2:1:1; oil-water ratio is 1:2(v:v); Emulsification time is 20minute; Dosage of the Fe3+is 1%(wt); Dosage of the Ammonium bicarbonate is 2%(wt); Dosage of the emulsifier is 6%(wt); Dosage of the Sodium silicate is 1%(wt). this research Simplifies the polymerization process and characterize the composition and structure of the polymer product via the IR spectrum.Determining the subsiding speed and properties as well as water light transmittance that around the treatment to evaluate the flocculation properties of Synthetic polymer in laboratory, the result demonstrates that the composite net flocculating agent in dealing with sewage can have merits of less dosage, low water content and high subside speed. Thus it can be seen that the flocculating agent can have broad application prospective in the field of sewage flocculent process.
