Most of the domestic gold ore associated with a certain concentration of copper. The main process of gold metallurgy is all sliming cyanidation CIP process at present. Copper is also very easy to cyanide leaching into the noble metal solution, to complete the separation of copper and noble metals, it exist in the form of copper nitrate at last. The method applied by the enterprise currently is iron replacement to recover it in the form of spongy copper. As the sponge copper market price instability, it is not conducive to the standardization of enterprise management. In this thesis, in order to the cupric nitrate solution and sponge copper produced in the cyanide gold extraction process as the object. Theory analysis and a series of experimental study has been conducted respectively. Recover the copper in the efficient and reasonable scheme, to create higher economic benefits, which has practical significance. In the light of cupric nitrate solution. First of all, conducted the electrowinning test. Experimental three kinds of insoluble anode made of contacts titanium plate, graphite,316stainless steel respectively. In the regulation of NO3-concentration, current density, deposition temperature and other factors, unable to suppress the NO3-discharge. The current efficiency is lower than50%, energy consumption is close to6000kW-h/(t-Cu), announced that the scheme failed; Secondly, conducted the extraction test. This paper investigated some influencing factors on extraction efficiency of copper contacts the initial pH value of the aqueous phase, phase ratio, time of agitating, extraction temperature and volume of extractant concentration. The test result is, extraction divided into two sections, the total extraction rate of copper can reach99.5%by. the test conditions. The advantages of this method is simple process and short flow, the disadvantages is the alkali consumption is big and the oxidizing of aqueous phase has hidden dangers to the extractant. In the light of sponge copper. Firstly, conducted fire refining system test to make T2Cu. Through two stages of impurity-oxidation and deoxy-restore. Copper ingredients can get to99.6%,which did not meet the standard of T2Cu. In addition to the recovery of refining slag should have specialized facilities, which is not match the alchemical enterprise’s equipment; Secondly, conducted the casting-electrolytic refining copper recovery test. The cathode copper is with high purity, the current efficiency is97.05%, energy consumption is282.36kW-h/(t-Cu). The technology is mature, but the process is complex、the handling of the anode mud and residual anode are very hard; Thirdly, conducted the sulfuric acid leaching-electrowinning of copper recovery test. This paper investigated some influencing factors on the leaching rate of copper contacts the liquid-solid ratio, temperature and time. The optimum leaching process is:the liquid-solid ratio is14:1、temperature is60℃、time is6h. The current efficiency is91.28%and the electric energy consumption is2108.32kW·h/(t·Cu). Advantages and disadvantages of the process is similar to the previous experiment; At last, conducted the leaching of copper sulfate test. After the process of leaching-purification of leaching liquor-crystallization-washing-drying, The crystals obtained with CuSO4·5H2O is97.2%, acidity (H2SO4) is0.14%, water insoluble matter less than0.2%, reached the standard of qualified for agriculture which has a good market prospects. In a word, the first three schemes are not suitable for gold enterprise adoption, however, the forth scheme has the advantages of simple equipment and product market prospect is good.In summary, cupric nitrate solution extraction test and test of preparation of copper sulfate by leaching copper sponge for recovery of copper can achieve good results.
