Oligomerized a-olefins synthetic oil is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil of a class of the main varieties. Compared with mineral oil base oil, an oligomerized a-olefins synthetic oil have excellent low temperature performance, low pour point, high flash point, oil contains no sulfur,oxidation less sediment, synthetic hydrocarbons promising varieties.In this paper as a starting point to synthesize good performance lubricant base oil for the purpose of the use of AlCl3 catalyzed the mixture of dodecene and tetradecene oligomerize reaction. By gas chromatography, infrared spectroscopy we analysis and characterized product composition and structure. In accordance with the national standard test methods for petroleum and petroleum products pour point, molecular weight and viscosity were determined. Detailed examination of the reaction temperature, reaction time, the ratio of alkenes and benzene on the alkylation reaction and the molecular weight, viscosity viscosity index, pour point and other properties. Use carbonation reaction mechanism and complex reaction mechanism for the catalytic the mixture of dodecene and tetradecene oligomerize reaction were analyzed. Designed by the method of orthogonal test, the test condition and influence of reaction conditions on the properties of product was investigated.The results show that the reaction product of the mixture of dodecene and tetradecene oligomerize reaction using AlCl3 catalyst contain poly-α-olefins(PAO) with various degree of polymerization, and the mixture is a high viscosity index(158~170), a lower pour point(-16~-34℃), medium molecular weight(715 ~ 875) of the desired lubricating base oil component. In the reaction conditions of temperature 50℃, time of 6 hours and 1-tetradecene and 1-dodecene mix proportion of 1:1 by the product of good performance.The orthogonal experiment showed that 1, raw material ratio on the yield of greatest influence and the influence of reaction time on the yield of the smallest.For getting the best yield that the conditions of the optimal value raw material ratio of 1-C12 and 1-C14 is 3:1 and reaction temperature is 75 ℃ and reaction time is 3 h. 2, minimum impact on the viscosity of100 ℃ and the temperature influence on raw material ratio and reaction time on the viscosity.For getting the best viscosity that the conditions of the optimal value raw material ratio of1-C12 and 1-C14 is 1:1 and reaction temperature is 25 ℃ and reaction time is 6 h. 3, the reaction time on the viscosity index of minimal impact and the influence of reaction temperature on the viscosity index of the largest. For getting the best viscosity index that the conditions of the optimal value raw material ratio of 1-C12 and 1-C14 is 1:1 and reaction temperature is 25 ℃ and the reaction time for 9 h. 4, raw material ratio on the influence of pour point maximum and minimum the influence of reaction time on the pour point. For getting the best pour point that the conditions of the optimal value raw material ratio of 1-C12 and 1-C14 is 3:1 and reaction temperature is 75 ℃ and reaction time is 3 h. 5, preliminarycomprehensive balance to determine the optimal process conditions, in different levels of average determine the optimal level combination of various factors, to determine the best process conditions raw material ratio of 1-C12 and 1-C14 is 3:1 and reaction temperature is 75℃ and reaction time is 6 h.Response surface analysis results show that: 1, in the viscosity of response surface the three test of single factor response were not significant; The interaction time and temperature of B is the greatest, other no significant interaction effect; Only raw material proportion in the quadratic term C significantly, other two items were not significant. 2, in the viscosity index of the response surface, three test reaction time and temperature B in the single factor were significantly, raw material ratio C was not significant; The interaction of time and material ratio B significantly; Other no significant interaction effects, two items in the time A temperature and material proportion B C were significantly. 3, in the response surface of pour point, three test single factor response were significantly, which C is the most significant proportion of the raw material,time and temperature B the most significant interaction effects,other interaction is less significant; Time in item 2 times A and raw material ratio C were significantly, has obvious temperature B. 4, in the yield of response surface, three single factor reaction was not significant; Time A and raw material ratio C, the most significant interaction effects, the other was not significant; Only raw material proportion in the second item C is the most significant, the other was not significant.
