With the deepening of degree of oil extraction, oil mining development has entered the stage of secondary and tertiary oil recovery. Among the tertiary oil recovery method,surfactant oil displacement method piay an important role.We made the molecular design.Then the nonylphenol, dodecylphenol and tetredecylphecylpeno reacted with epichlorohydrin under the conditions of the phase transfer catalyst and the alkaline(NaOH), the products were reacted with dimethylamine solution of 40%, which then reacted with the 3-chloro-2-hydroxy propanesulfonate ultimately.we obtain three kinds of alkyl phenol betaine surfactants. To obtain the optimum operating conditions, the orthogonal experiments were taken; The chemical structures of the products were characterized by FT-IR. The interfacial, surface, emulsifying, and thermal stability property were reseached.Results showed that the lowest surfactant surface tension of three kinds of alkyl phenol betaine surfactants were less than 30 mN/m.With the alkyl chain carbon number increase three betaine surfactants, cmc, γcmc and Γmax increased gradually, while Amin and pC20 gradually decreased.The interfacial tension between the different concentration of the Cn SZ solution and the Gudao district, Gudong thirty-four district crude oil were studied, with the surfactant concentrations increase, the interfacial tension were decreased and arrived at ultra-low value≤10-3mN/m. Three kinds of alkyl phenol betaine surfactants we sythsised exhibited good solubility under the condition of high salinity of 32308mg/L and showed good interface performance even under the existence of different salt and alkali, short chain alcohols,polymer.With the increase of three kind surfactant solution concentration, the watershed time increased gradually,emulsifying ability enhanced, if above the best concentration,they did not become obvious change. When the concentration of the surfactant solution was 3.0g/L,three kinds of alkyl phenol betaine surfactants aqueous solution performance good liquid wax emulsion. Under 85℃, three betaine surfactants behaved good thermal stability Within60 days.
