Along with the successively implementation of high-temperature oil producting in LiaoHe Oilfield, H2 S content in well-associated gas has risen heavily, which could be very harmful to atmosphere, and has caused many damages to the life & work safety of local workers and people. In that it makes researches about removing H2 S in associated gas a very important part in ensuring the sustainable product of Oilfield.This project did detailed researches aimed at H2 S removal in Qi40 block, which including processing of the removal,the arrangement of processing points and the selection of corrosion-resistant materials. At consider of the lay out stlye of Qi40 sulfide-containing well stations and the low treatment capacity for sulfide-associated gas,adopted a desulfurization technology that take advantages of QF-12 Sorbent in dry desulfurization process and thionizers which working in series and parallelly to knockout H2 S in associated gas. Processing points has been arranged as a local centralized method, and then different numbers of desulfurization towers will be settled at each point according to its processing capacity and H2 S content.The towers runs in series parallel, resolved heavy oil-associated gas’ desulfurization problems reasonably and economically. By studying a reasonable comparison to prevent equipment corrosion-resistant materials, such as corrosion of pipes and valves. The shell of thionizers is fabricated in material of Q245 R, adopt anti-corrosion dedicated valves, and material of pipes and fittings is high-pressure boiler seamless steel pipe tagged 20 G as referenced in GB5310, and the sealing face of flanges is FF style. Ensure the safety of process-production equipments, valves and pipings by adopting anti-corrosion materials.Since the Project’s implementation, there is no hydrogen sulfide being detected in natural gas after treatment, better than the design value which is no more than 10mg/m3 sulfide in gas, means that the Poject has made significant effection and it could handle environment and safety issues perfectly caused by production of Heavy Oil Field.Meanwhile, by this project, 382.11×104m3 natrual gas annually being recycled during production, making economical gains of 1146.33×104 Yuan. Afforded valuable experiences and basis for desulfurization of other blocks’ heavy oil-associated gas in LiaoHe Oil feild.
