Study On Aesthetic Culture Of The Yi’s Clothing Of Liangshan

As the Yi nationality is well-known for its aesthetic consciousness and pursuit, its aesthetic culture is principally displayed by the document literature, aesthetic activity and memorial ceremony. The aesthetic culture of the Yi’s clothing, a vital part of the Yi’s national culture, plays an important role in studying the people’s aesthetic psychology and inheriting its national culture.Taking the aesthetic culture of clothing as its subject, this paper studies the Yi’s aesthetic psychology which shapes in its local culture by analyzing the unique history, geographic environment and primitive religion on the basis of the natural and historical environment. The thesis applies field work to collect clothing data. In addition, under the guidance of semiotic aesthetics and the analytical methods of aesthetic psychology, the analysis of the color, pattern and style of the Yi’s clothing of Liangshan has been done to find the essence of expression in clothing, thus discussing the innovation and inheritance of the Yi’s clothing of Liangshan.This paper includes six chapters as follows:The first chapter constitutes the introduction, which principally introduces the current situation of the studys on the Yi’s clothing culture of Liangshan to show the research value and innovation.In the second chapter, the aesthetic culture background of the Yi’s clothing of Liangshan is introduced from such four aspects as history and culture, geographic environment, primitive religion and social system.In the third chapter, according to the data collected from fieldwork, the author discusses the aesthetic psychology reflected in the color, pattern and style.In the fourth chapter, guided by the basic theory of semiotics, the author analyses the semiotic system of the Yi’s clothing of Liangshan to explore the semiotic aesthetic system of the Yi’s clothing in the context of regional culture.The fifth chapter mainly with local aesthetic concepts, aesthetic characteristics analysis of Liangshan Yi apparel under local aesthetic sight.The last chapter is the conclusion. Based on the basic theory of clothing aesthetics, the author discusses the heritance and protection of clothing culture among the intangible cultural heritage from the perspective of the regional aesthetics.
