Polyacrylate emulsion from acrylic monomers and other types of vinyl monomer by emulsion copolymerization, extensive attention by people because of its good performance. As the pigment printing binder, the traditional polyacrylate emulsion exist a series of problems.First, with hydroxy ethyl acrylate(HEA) as crosslinking monomer, in the process of curing need high temperature;Second, the film "hot sticky cold short", use range is limited;Third, when used in pigment printing, fabric handle and colour fastness contradiction.In order to solve the above problems, this study chose several new types of crosslinking monomer, find out the alternative crosslinking monomer to HEA; Using organic silicon modified silicone acrylic emulsion, according to the principle of "particle design" the preparation of core-shell emulsion, solved the film "hot sticky cold short" shortcomings, and to some extent improve the printed fabric handle and colour fastness.This experiment adopts the pre emulsification semi-continuous drop process, the sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS) and polyoxyethylene octyl phenol ether(X405) distribution as emulsifiers, ammonium persulfate(APS) as initiator, with butyl acrylate(BA), 2-ethylhexyl acrylate(2-EHA) as the soft monomer, with methyl methacrylate(MMA) as hard monomer, acrylic acid(AA) as functional monomer, HEA, TM-200, CX-650, T-31 and DS-65 as possible crosslinking monomer in emulsion copolymerization.Through single factor analysis and orthogonal analysis can determine the optimum conditions of polymerization, monomer emulsifying time 45 min, the reaction temperature is 80 ℃, pre-emulsion adding time is 120 min, insulation under 90 ℃ for 30 min.Emulsifier SDBS/X405 for 3/4, dosage is 0.6%(weight of monomer, similarly hereinafter), APS dosage is 0.6%, the dosage of AA is 2.3%, the ratio of soft monomer and hard monomer at 1.36/1, determine the DS- 65 as the dosage of crosslinking monomer, is 2%, the dosage of vinyl silicone oil is 9%, core-shell monomer ratio of four thirds.Using infrared spectrometer and synchronous thermal analyzer, the polymers were characterized by FT IR, TG and DSC analysis found that emulsion polymerization is exothermic reaction, all components are involved in the reaction, and reaction completely;Organic silicone modified polymer macromolecule chain segment, Si-O keys, the presence of Si-CH3 keys showed good copolymerization reaction; The polymers with Organic silicon modified and "particle design", heat-resisting performance improve and the decomposition temperature rise.The prepared pure acrylic emulsion, silicon-crylic emulsion and core-shell emulsion are used in pigment printing, optimize printing process found that home-made emulsion need baking temperature is 130 ℃, it will greatly reduce the energy consumption and reduce the fabric damage.Of printed fabrics rubbing, soaping fastness and softness, K/S value, tear strength and other performance test, compared with existing products on the market found that homemade silicon-crylic emulsion, core-shell emulsion in pigment printing has reached a more advanced level. Homemade silicone-crylic emulsion was applied to pure cotton knitted fabric pilling resistance, it can be increased resistance to pilling grade to tier 3 and a half, the fabric has good handle.
