The topic try to find better refractories using in the antimony smelting furnace by static crucible method. The effection of the different addition of alumina-chrome slag(essential component is Al2O3-Cr2O3) and sintering temperature to alumina-chrome brick was taken. We find a better aluminium chromium slag addition and sintering temperature for a high cost performance by comparing the properties such as bulk density、apparent porosity,cold compression strength, influence of line rate after burn,refractoriness under load and thermal shock resistance, by means of SEM and XRD. The results of experiment show that(1) alumina-chrome brick has the best erosion resistance in various kinds of static crucible of antimony smelting slag sample experiment of comprehensive, fused half combining magnesite-chrome brick is common, chromium slag brick and super high alumina brick comprehensive is the worst(2) When the alumina-chrome slag addition amount to 30 wt. %, comprehensive performance of aluminum chrome brick in is better(3) The better sintering temperature is 1600℃ to alumina-chrome brick with an addition 30 wt. % alumina-chrome slag. At the same time, the topic discusses the influence of the of the additive of α-Al2O3 powder, Cr2O3 powder to the performance of of alumina-chrome brick with the addition of 30 wt. % alumina-chrome slag. Both of them have a certain effect to the alumina-chrome brick,the better addition amount of Al2O3 powder with Cr2O3 powder are all 3% wt.
