The technique of three-dimensional fluorescence spectrum can show fluorescent information and its more sensitive and multiplication selectivity let it widely used. In this paper, on the basis of the fluorescence spectroscopy for material identification theory, We design the software and the hardware system for the identification of toxicity algae and the hemolytic activity, This work has a great significance in the red tide warning, plankton fluorescence analysis, algae measure automation。First this article elaborated the superiority of the three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy and the limitations of the traditional fluorescence spectroscopy technology. Then we analyze the realistic significance of the algae recognition device design by three dimensional fluorescence spectra technique.Also we studied the status and the development of fluorescence spectroscopy in the field of red tide algae recognition both at home and abroad in detail.Secondly, we select the typical toxic algae and non-toxicity algae,get the two-dimensional fluorescence spectra and the three-dimensional fluorescence spectra of them. intuitively we obtained the fact that two-dimensional fluorescence spectra of two species of algae were not this resolution and three-dimensional fluorescence spectra can be resolved conclusion.Then we design the hardware platform: build laboratory fluorescence excitation and the detection system, comprising a light source device selection, structure and the shape of the excitation wavelength selection,light path coupling, fluorescent probe, matching scheme comparison and selection of different fluorescence excitation light source, laser light source and detection system. The weak signal detection and processing, circuit design and system control.Design the whole software based on VC6.0, including communication with the hardware system through the USB interface and the access database design.Finally, we verify the functional reliability of the software and hardware system based on known algal species. Select a large number of test samples forexperiment, we obtained the reliability data of the designed system and the reason of the low reliability of experiment.
