Research On The Drilling Fluid Of Environment Protection

With progress of the oil and gas drilling technology and the stricter environmental protection requirements, the research on the drilling fluid of environment protection is urgently needed. Based on the research at home and abroad, to the environmental effects of common drilling fluid, the experiment and evaluation of biodegradation and toxicity are conducted. The addictives including IND-30, HFL-1, NFA-25, JHG and PE were optioned.All the addictives mentioned above are easy to biodegradation, meanwhile no toxicity, they can be used as environmental drilling fluid addictives. What’s more, the performances of temperature resistance of the environmental drilling fluid addictives mentioned above are tested and evaluated. Experimental results show that the thermal performances of the drilling fluid additives can reach 160℃, and the performances of temperature resistance are good.With the environmental drilling fluid addictives, the drilling fluid of environment protection( 4% soil slurry NaOH + 0.05% + 0.3% IND-30 + 3.0% NFA-25 + 2.0% + 1.0% JHG HFL-1+ 3% PE-1) was developed. The the drilling fluid mentioned above was applied to the drilling field, and the application results show that the the drilling fluid of environment protection can meet the condition need from start drilling to completion operation, which achieves good effects of the environment protection and the reservoir protection.
