In recent years,environmental-friendly high-performance water-based drilling fluids have attracted much attention in well fields of major oil fields. Therefore,it is particularly important for the detection of the toxicity of drilling fluids and waste drilling fluids. However, the conventional method of toxicity testing only stipulates the limited emission of individual pollution factors. It does not fully and intuitively reflect the comprehensive effects of various toxic substances on the environment, but it cannot directly reflect the threat of contaminants to some living objects. The luminescent bacteria method is a comprehensive detection method to determine the impact of toxic substances on the environment. In this paper,Vibrio fischeri is used as the research object and the following research contents are launched:(1)Vibrio fischeri was used as the test organism to test the acute biological toxicity of the 4 samples;(2)Study the mechanism of the influence of high temperature factors on biotoxicity of drilling fluid through pretreatment methods such as different time periods of hot rolling.(3)To study the biological toxicity of the complete drilling fluid system and the biological toxicity of the drilling fluid filtrate. The final experimental results show that several samples to be tested are all within the scope of non-toxicity;the toxicity of the drilling fluid does not increase significantly as the temperature rises;the mud filtrate also has significant biological toxicity.
