The Design And Research Of Modern Paper Furniture Based On Sustainable Development

The development of society and the continuous elevation of living standard cause the market competition fiercer day by day and ecologic environment worse by degree in the post-crisis era. Nowadays, the sustainable green furniture is coming into people’s life more and more and the selection of green materials plays a decisive role for green furniture. If a green interior space is created, there should be people-oriented idea and non-polluting, non-toxic and continuously renewable green materials close to nature.This thesis conducts in-depth research on sustainable development, through analyzing on minimizing the life cycle of the product, resource consumption, optimizing life cycle, designing the system of eco-efficiency. The concept of "cradle to cradle" is introduced into furniture design, making modern furniture requirements more in line with the times. This paper improves the furniture design to elaborate the fashion taste of the paper furniture, and further reduces the environmentally unfriendly factors in the design. Consequently, these efforts help to increase the users of paper furniture, and further prompt the development of environmentally friendly furniture and our indoor health.The design and research of modern paper furniture based on sustainable development are broadly divided into three steps, namely theoretical research, practical design, Verification and assessment.Theoretical research phase. To do integration analysis of relevant design materials on sustainable development at home and abroad in recent years and conduct research of user experience;Practical design phase.To develop specific design and implementation plan according to the user’s specific requirements,based on study and summary of theoretical knowledge and aimed at the design idea of sustainable development and user-friendly design, and finally produce paper furniture design models.Verification and assessment phase. To test the availability of the product by three methods, namely the theoretical assessment, using model to test design quality and user experience.
