Research On Sustainable Design Of Furniture Products

In recent years,with the continuous deterioration of climate and environment,the depletion of resources,sustainable development has become the inevitable choice of society,sustainable design has become the inevitable direction and trend of industrial design development.Furniture as an indispensable tool for people's daily life,but also to meet the requirements of the situation to meet the requirements of sustainable development.The purpose of this paper is to put forward the principles and methods of sustainable furniture design.In this paper,the concept of sustainable development,the concept of sustainable design and the development process are analyzed,and then the environmental requirements and the concept of product life cycle are discussed.Pointed out that the concept and strategy of life cycle design products:resource consumption minimization,low environmental impact and resource selection process,product life cycle optimization,prolonging life cycle,convenient disassembly,and a detailed analysis of the relationship between strategy.Then the product life cycle design strategies and principles are applied in the furniture design.From the choice of low environmental impact resources and extend the material life cycle perspective,summed up the furniture product material selection and extension of the principle and method of life cycle of furniture materials;from the resource minimization and product life cycle optimization point of consumption,summarizes the principles and methods of furniture products with structure design.Based on the analysis of consumer demand,this paper studies the design principles,methods and the significance of the design of furniture,including the design of disassembly,modular design,portable design and multi function design.In this paper,the design principles and methods of sustainable design of furniture packaging are discussed from the aspects of resource consumption minimization and life cycle extension.Finally,through sustainable furniture design principles and methods of the design practice of the test of practice for young groups to design a set of multi-functional furniture,can be in the bar chair and rack conversion function.
