At present, the recycling of waste plastic films is a mixture of various plastics. In order to effectively use it, it is a must to achieve high purity sorting. The sorting technology is the key. Most of the traditional sorting methods are the sorting with single excitation. They are difficult to solve the problems of similar performance,requirements of high purity sorting. Therefore, the waste plastic films were studied with compound excitation on the pneumatic and vibratory bed. The sorting effect is better than sorting with single excitation. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Through the study of domestic and international plastics separation methods, the pneumatic and vibratory separation is proposed. The model of waste plastic films is established under the action of wind and vibration and the rules of sliding tracks are studied on the influence of various parameters, which can finally realize the selection of waste plastic films.(2) Study on the movement of waste plastics under the action of wind. Through the experimental study on the motion state of waste plastics under the action of wind, and the analysis that how the shape size and particle size of waste plastics and wind speed affect the stress mode of plastic, nature of stress and the arrangement position force, the optimal sorting crushing size and wind speed are determined. Using the FLUENT software, the simulation analysis of fluid mechanics is carried out on the wind chamber. The best outlet speed of wind was obtained, which lays a good foundation for the subsequent vibratory separation.(3)Study on sliding motion law of waste plastics on vibratory bed. Study on the motion state of waste plastics under the vibratory force, the motion mathematical model of waste plastic films is established on vibratory bed to explore the effects of sliding motion trajectory of waste plastic films by the size, density, the vibratory frequency, vibratory amplitude and bed angle. The displacements of waste plastic films are obtained by MATLAB, which reveal the sliding motion law of different waste plastic films on vibration bed.(4)Parameters selection and optimization of plastic pneumatic and vibratory-sorting equipment. Combined with wind and vibration, the motion mathematical model of waste plastic films is established on pneumatic and vibratory bed with the theory of dynamics.Using the optimization software of MATLAB, the optimal configuration parameters of sorting equipment are obtained using the corresponding optimization algorithm while setthe optimal trajectory of waste plastic film on pneumatic and vibratory bed as the optimization goal and the main structure parameters of pneumatic and vibratory bed and working parameters as the optimized variables. It provides theoretical guidance for the design of new plastic pneumatic and vibratory-sorting equipment.(5)Study on the pneumatic and vibratory-sorting equipment. The pneumatic action,vibratory motion law of plastics and the research results of the plastic-sorting methods are combined. The key parts of the sorting equipment, such as electric motor, turbines and shaft are calculated and selected. Using the simulation software of ADAMS, the sorting prototype is analyzed, which can verify the correctness of theoretical analysis.What’s more, Compared with the soft package plastics composite separation, the The separation effect of pneumatic and vibratory selection is better and takes less time.
