| Titanium alloy for its excellent high temperature performance, high specific strength and stiffness, which makes it become one of the main applications in aerospace industry materials.But with the rapid development of the aerospace industry,the performance of structural materials request higherand single material. This paper mainly to explore the preparation process of Si Cf/TB8.The interface behavior, mechanical properties and thermal physical properties were studied, the results of the study show that:The best parameters of hot isostatic pressing is 830 ℃/120 MPa/2 h. Through analysis the interface and organizational structure, discover that the interfacial reactions of Si C fiber and titanium matrix mainly involved in the Ti, Si, C but not have Al. The reaction product phase include Ti C and Ti5Si3. The diffusion activation energy of titanium calculated by Boltzmann-Matano method is 193.61 k J/mol.The cross tensile test is used to measure fiber composite material / matrix interfacial debonding strength, getting the debonding strength is 174.21 MPa. Through heat treatment to analysis Si Cf/TB8 interface debonding strength, the results showed that with prolonged heat treatment temperature increases, debonding strength will be decreased. This mainly due to prolong the heat treatment time and the heat treatment temperature, increase the brittle phases of Si C fibers and TB8 matrix interfacial reaction, reducing the interface bond strength of the composite.Transverse and longitudinal tensile properties of Si Cf/TB8 composites were determined. The transverse tensile strength is 406.54 MPa and longitudinal tensile strength is 1 542.22 MPa. With the extension of treatment time and heat treatment temperature, transverse tensile strength is decreased.Thermal physical properties Si Cf/TB8 matrix composites is measured, the thermal expansion and thermal conductivity properties of the composites is higher than TB8 matri x.
